Vote Obiden - Obama-Biden 2008Almost as soon as finished writing about Obama-Biden, I started embracing the ticket - I do love Biden and I abhor wasting a vote. My husband is a very strong Obama supporter. He believes that it is truly time for a change. He’s been an Obama supporter since the primaries. One of the first times we’ve disagreed about candidates. However, as much as we disagree about the Democratic candidate, we’ve both agreed on this: We simply cannot afford another four years of a Republican in the White House. We also can’t afford another four years of having a deadlocked Senate and Congress. We’ve both reviewed our Social Security statements. During the Clinton White House era, we both prospered. Gas and food prices were down. Wages were up. And we thought Clinton’s inability to keep his dick in his pants was a personal issue. Not one that should have been used to stall progress and spend an untold amount of money on a Special Prosecutor, who investigated the Clinton’s on everything from Travelgate, Whitewater and finally a blowjob in the White House. Off the top of my head, I think we wasted 57 million on stalling the progress of the Clinton administration. As I mentioned in the last post, I think Bush should have been impeached. American blood has been spilt for oil profits. Everytime anyone mentions that Bush is an idiot, I remind them he’s lined the family coffers with profits from disrupting smuggled Iraqi oil, which kept OPEC prices down. At the best, his motives for starting the Iraqi war were murky. Having a personal vendetta because Iraq’s government had tried to assasinate his father and had Bush Senior’s face placed on a mosaic at the entrance of a hotel was no reason to start a war. Especially a war presented to the American public as a response to the terrorism of 9/11. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. False information given out by this government persuaded the Senate and Congress to sanction a war. It’s interesting that one of the first things we did was break the mosaic of George Bush Senior’s face, while permitting the country to riot and loot. This administration’s reactions and invasion of Iraq, and their inability to conduct the war properly have all meant lost American lives and record oil prices. Let’s go back to the Democrats for a minute. I’m a pragmatic voter, a Hillary supporter and female. Joe Biden is one of the few people who I would endorse for VP. He’s a pitbull and Jim and I have enjoyed his comments to the current administration over the past years. His stand on torture has been admirable and he embodies the best of what this country stands for. He’ll be the person Obama uses to keep his hands clean. He’s a great attack surrogate. He’s this candidate’s James Carville. Obama can keep his ”clean” image and let Biden be his pitbull. Biden certainly doesn’t have the baggage that the Clinton’s have. He’s been in the Senate for 36 years and the only criticism that anyone can come up with is the fact that he tends to be verbose. He has a boatload of strengths. His foreign policy and military experience will certainly act as a buttress to Obama’s inexperience. I don’t have to ask who Biden is and what he stands for, he’s always stood out over the years as someone who’s not afraid to stand on principle and speak out. Four more years of the Republicans, I think not.
