When it comes to Politics, I'm an unabashed pragmatic, hawkish Liberal. I don't believe that a country as rich as we are can allow so many to slip through the cracks. Does the French Revolution ring a bell? There should be a balance between TANSTAAFL (there ain't no such thing as a free lunch) and just plain human decency. And quite frankly, until we have a health system in place that can take care of our Veterans, both mentally and physically, then yes, socialize the system.
